Anyone interested? Pure roleplay, no books need. Just a love of SW. about 3-4 years after ROTJ. Concept for my plotline taken from the Rogue squadron books/comics/game and then modified in my own twisted way

I'd be interested in hearing more, I'm only familiar with Rogue squadron from the game for the 64 and for the Heir to the Empire trilogy with Thrawn.

wow, bigger response than I expected already. Basically all you need for a pure RP is a discription of a character, but it needs to be fairly detailed. I'll post an example once I have more set up, all you need to do for now is think about a character bio for now. Only ground rules is everyone can't be force users, so if you want to be able to touch the force, you have to sell me on it. Two, everyone is a pilot of one of the republic's four main figher types, A-, B-, X- or Y-Wing. Your choice, and everyone doesn't have to be the same. If you want ideas and what not, use this site... starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page

I've got dips on the A-wing... small and suicide, that's for me.

I'll take a chicken wing! Wait... wrong place.
Do have a question for Daks on this fighter choices thing: would having all the pilots be in the same kind of fighter make things run more smoothly? If so, should the future PCs decide now or later what class they want their squadron to use?

That certainly is a good point Renegade.
I have a question about the races. Are there races that are or are not allowed? I was looking to play either a Zeltron or a Twi'Lek.
As for the ship so long as its fast and maneuverable that's what I'm aiming for.

That certainly is a good point Renegade. Keep that up and you'll inflate his ego... The option is for preference starting out. All pilots know the basics to fly all types of starfighters, but they'll gravitate towards one class, sort of as a specialty. and since a variety is available, having everyone in x-Wings is a little on the dull side. Everyone is already a pilot. Whether they are a green recruit straight from training, an Imperial defector or an already with a year or two'sexpierenced ( sorry, no Endor survivors) is up to you. All PC's start as flight officers, with my disgretion to allow the possibility of being a Luietenant, but you'll really have to sell thebackground story to me. All characters will be assigned a starfighter, and anyone with X- or Y-wings will also have an astromech with can be a R2, R4 or R5 unit. Anymore questions?

Hey, my ego's not inflated! And, when I manage to squeeze my head through this door, you're in trouble, mister.

Here's a same of what I'm looking for in a PC sheet...
This is a pc from a different game, and I have no intentions of appearing in this game
Karena Therez
A 25 year old human female of Corellian/ Contruum descent, Luietenant Karena Therez is 5' 7"/ 137lbs, with shoulder length curly brown hair and icy blue eyes and has a nasty burn scar on her left forearm she refuses to have removed. Once her Correllian heritage was obvious, but her brazen, quick tempered, smartmouthed nature rarely surfaces and has been replaced by a withdrawn and unsure disposition. The glare of intensity she once held in the cokpit is replaced with self doubt and a lack of confidence, a dangerous situation for a pilot. She still has difficulty accepting the truth about her former wingman and what he had done without her realizing it, even taking some of the blame and is quick to anger if someone brings up the subject. And even quicker if she catches someone calling her by the nickname she hates, the "Kurse"
Because of this, she has tended to keep to herself, spending much of her free time tweaking the Y-wing or in simulators, trying to regain her lost skill in the cokpit.. Although opportunity has risen on several occasions, she has shown little interest in the prospect in the other types of ships at Echo Base, preferring to be the lone Y-wing pilot in all of Echo Base with access to a fighter.
She carries a Blast tech DH 44 heavy blaster pistol worn in a low slung holster, a Czerka 411 holdout blaster hidden up her sleeve and a vibro shiv hidden in her boot. She also laid claim to the astromech that had came with the Y-wing, R5-L8, which she has named Late.
Late
R5-L8 is the astromech Karena has become attached to. The white with green trim R5 unit got his name because of a motivator on his retractible third legthat makes him quite slow. He has a quiet personality programmed in, but he tends to get very vocal when placed in a sticky situation, especially starfighter combat.

It's like some sort of siren song... I cannot resist, and there is no mast to tie me to...
OK, well, I'm in for an X-wing pilot. Cause, you know, I'm a sucker for the classics.
